Running

What the heck am I talking about? How could running possibly kill you? I’ll tell you.

Conventional wisdom has us believing running is good for us when it really isn’t. We naturally think running is one of the absolute best forms of exercise for both weight-loss (or maintenance) and our cardiovascular health.

In reality, running can have serious long-term adverse health effects. I know that wonderful feeling while running called runners high; when you zone out, switch off, and feel high, allowing you to push on. That’s your endorphins playing games with your mind. This sensation distracts from how your body is feeling, allowing you to push harder and further, causing even more damage.

As a former professional skier, running was a big part of my training routine. We ran everywhere, on the streets, mountain trails, and even up and down the bloody mountains. It was all crazy stuff and extremely damaging to the knees, ankles, and lower back. As if hardcore skiing wasn’t already bad enough on the same joints! …

Pizza is “Dirty Food”

The word “dirty” says it all, as dirt is dirt. Dirty isn’t good especially when it comes to your bloodstream. Being clean is the key to good health.

Fast Food = Cheap Food.

Just like fast-food isn’t real food. Fast-food serves two purposes; being fast (immediate gratification) and being cheap. Cheap mostly means low quality, no matter what we are talking about; furniture, cars, houses, clothes, and of course, food. Good cheap food exists, but that’s almost always home-cooked.

Keto Food = Clean Food.

Above all, a Keto Meal Plan must be based on healthy, natural, and clean ingredients. That’s the reason I prefer to call it a “Natural Diet” instead of “Keto.” The whole point of the keto lifestyle is to get away from processed “dirty” foods. So why would you eat “dirty keto,” meaning anything processed and packaged? It’s about going back to and appreciating nature and natural foods. …

Keto Reset

Are you taking a keto break or getting back into the keto lifestyle? Then it’s time for the Keto Reset!

Standing Upside Down to See The Right Side Up!

Why do I ask the question? Well, I turned to Keto, and four years ago, I did a total Keto Reset. I’ve stayed set ever since. Managing your Keto Reset and staying set, for good, is the only real way for prolonged weight-management and overall health success.

That’s also the reason I became a certified Primal Keto Health Coach. After studying ancestral health and the Keto Lifestyle, everything made sense to me. I understood why I had suffered previous health problems and saw how quickly my body and mind fixed themselves. …

Eat Meat

“How can you have any pudding if you don’t eat your meat?!” The English Rock Band Pink Floyd had it right back in 1979 with the single “Another Brick in the Wall.”

The Paleo and Keto Diets allow you to eat all kinds of meats, animal products, vegetables and nuts, and seeds. The only items not allowed are anything made with grains (wheat) or sugar. Paleo also doesn’t allow dairy products. Sounds tough or easy? It is easy if you understand and can commit. But, when you think about the Standard American Diet (which most people are stuck in) or look at what’s on sale in the supermarkets, you’ll start to wonder how on earth you can manage this diet.

The Carnivore Diet allows you ONLY to eat meat and all animal products. Not only that but as much meat as you can get your claws on or fangs in! Doesn’t that sound great to all you meat lovers? Yep, you can stuff your face with as many burgers or Rib-Eye Steaks as you like, no calorie or macro counting needed, just eat until you are full! …

On Top of a Volcano

Climbing Mountains isn’t an easy task, even for the very fit. Reaching the top of a mountain is an immense achievement, every time.

Life much resembles mountains, full of twists, and turns, stones, and rocks, steep drop-offs, treacherous terrain, unexpectedly challenging climbs, tricky descents, and risks whichever way you decide to turn.

When climbing a mountain, you must focus on your every step and move. If you don’t, you risk losing your footing and could end up falling hard and far. Sounds like life? That’s okay, precisely as the majestic mountains, life is natural, and will always take its own direction. There isn’t all that much you can do to control it, so it’s better to go with the flow and enjoy it.

Do you prepare for the mountain climb? Absolutely, we have to, and of course, the same applies to life.

Immune System

Precious little is more important these days than having a healthy immune system to stay strong and, in some cases, to stay alive!

Keto Crunch Bali Products

As long as your immune system is running smoothly, you don’t notice that it’s there. But if it stops working properly — because it’s weak or can’t fight particularly aggressive germs — you get ill.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

You Are Your Immune System.

Only you can rebuild your immune system by nurturing your body with healthy, clean, unprocessed, low-carb, and sugar-free foods. Besides that, you want to spend as much time as possible outdoors, exercising moderately, or just moving your body!

If your immune system is in top shape, you will find that you’ll never or hardly ever get sick. …

Fit and Strong

Good, all you need to do are four simple exercises, for the rest of your life, and you will be fit and strong for good!

Lunges

This method is particularly attractive if you’re like me; over 50, always on the move, don’t have enough time in the day, dislike smelly gyms, but you want to stay or get fit and strong.

The Golden 4: Push-Ups — Pull-Ups — Planks — Lunges.

Why these particular movements? Simple; all we need to do is go back to basics. Look at military training around the world. I can assure you those guys don’t hang out in fancy gyms doing fitness classes, such as spinning, yoga, and pilates. No, they get down and dirty in the dirt and do the real hardcore work, no matter if rain or shine. …

Wellbeing

Wellness seems to have become a misunderstood word. The whole “wellness game” is often associated with spending large sums of money.

Forest Bathing

The truth is, you don’t need to hit those pricey spas every week or so to get your wellness on, all you need to do is go back to basics.

Let’s take a look at some of the most natural ways you can and should practice wellness therapy every day. It’s surprisingly easy to do, yet extremely beneficial to the body, mind, soul, and wallet.

1. Nature Is Your Friend.

Spending as much in nature as possible should be top of the list for any sensible wellness game plan. Sound like a drag? Too hard to get out into nature from where you live? Too time-consuming? …

Lean Muscle

Building lean muscle isn’t as easy as most think, nor is it necessarily safe. Hitting the gym hard every day, will help you build bulk, but will your muscle and body be lean?

Before thinking about building your muscle mass; what you should first consider is your heart and organ health. Because, without a strong heart and healthy organs, your muscle-building effort may result in a compromised immune system, the risk of falling ill, or even worse, a heart attack! Yes, over-exercising is a real problem, from which one can develop heart disease. Please read more on that subject here.

The 10 Simple Steps to Successfully Build Lean Muscle.

1. Aerobic Exercise.

If you want to build lean muscle and a healthy heart, you have to start with regular aerobic exercises, such as fast-paced walking, hiking, trekking, jogging, biking, or swimming. …

Anger Management

Why do I ask that question? The answer is that I’m seeing many people getting upset and irritated, quickly, every day.

Let’s not even talk about social media, as people’s behavior on the two big platforms can often be beyond insanity. The hate speech and aggression seen there daily in groups or even newsfeeds are shocking. If I read this stuff, I delete quickly, but I try not to read, and I mostly manage not to.

The Problem.

Back to real life: people are getting upset much more quickly these days, it seems. Okay, Corona and the fallout are a big part of that, but why the aggression?
